Debra is an Oracle ACE Director, a seasoned enterprise technology leader, and a highly respected voice in the global Oracle community. She currently serves on the Board of the Oracle Developer and Technology User Group (ODTUG) and is a past president of the UK Oracle User Group. Debra has worked with Oracle Applications and Technology since 1996 and was instrumental in representing the global user community during the development of Oracle Fusion Applications.
A Chartered Director, Debra combines technical depth with strategic acumen, helping organisations make informed decisions about their Oracle roadmaps. Francisco is a Distinguished Product Manager at Oracle, specializing in Oracle AI Database, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA). He works globally with C-level executives, enterprise architects, and senior technical leaders to help organisations design and adopt resilient, mission-critical database strategies.
A globally recognised technology evangelist, international speaker, published author, and thought leader, Francisco has built a distinguished career spanning technical leadership, community influence, and strategic product advocacy. He was a member of the first team to introduce Oracle to South America, became the first Oracle 7 Master Database Administrator from Latin America, and was also the first Latin American to achieve Double ACE distinction as both Oracle ACE and Oracle ACE Director. Before joining Oracle, he served in the Oracle ACE program for 15 years.
Francisco is the main author of Oracle Database 12c Backup and Recovery Survival Guide, published by Packt Publishing, a widely recognized Oracle database title that continues to remain relevant more than a decade after publication. He was also the first Latin American to receive both an Oracle Magazine Award and an Oracle Excellence Award as Evangelist of the Year.
In addition to his extensive technical and industry credentials, Francisco holds an MBA specialised in Marketing Management, is currently pursuing a second MBA specialisation in Finance toward a double honours MBA and has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Graduate Certificate in Management.
