Mxolisi is an accomplished ICT industry leader with over 20 years of experience in IT and Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). His career spans consulting and managed services leadership across diverse sectors, including financial services, oil and gas, mining, retail, and telecommunications (TechCo environments).
He has successfully led and transformed complex ERP landscapes in senior leadership roles, bringing deep expertise across ERP Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Analytics, and Human Resources.
As a Senior Oracle Specialist, Mxolisi has been responsible for solution architecture, implementation, and operational management, serving as the primary executive contact during professional services and outsourced solution engagements. He works closely with C-suite and senior stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence, unlock new business opportunities, and drive strategic value through Oracle platforms.
Mxolisi holds a Commerce degree in Informatics and multiple Oracle certifications. He is widely recognised as a subject matter expert, with a strong passion for knowledge sharing, industry collaboration, and the advancement of the Oracle ecosystem in South Africa.
In his role as Finance Director of the SAOUG, Mxolisi brings strategic financial oversight, governance, and sustainability focus to the organisation. His leadership supports SAOUG’s mission to grow and strengthen the Oracle community across Africa.
With a career spanning more than two decades in Oracle technologies, Ahmed brings deep technical expertise, community advocacy, and industry leadership to his role as Membership Director of the SAOUG.
Recognised as an Oracle ACE, Ahmed is widely respected for his contribution to the Oracle ecosystem through knowledge sharing, technical leadership, and ongoing community engagement. His experience spans Oracle Database, Engineered Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, and enterprise platform optimisation, where he has helped organisations modernise, scale, and extract greater value from their technology investments.
