The South African Oracle User Group (SAOUG) is a professional, community-driven, non-profit organisation supported by a dedicated board and volunteers. The SAOUG serves as a neutral and trusted platform connecting Oracle Corporation, Oracle partners, and Oracle users, enabling open dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

We provide an objective environment where organisations and individuals can exchange ideas, share real-world experiences and best practices, and address common challenges related to Oracle Technology and Applications.

The SAOUG plays a key role in building and strengthening the Oracle user ecosystem across Africa by collaborating with global Oracle User Groups, Oracle ACEs, and independent thought leaders to remain aligned with emerging trends, evolving technologies, and the practical needs of end users.

Through our events, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), content initiatives, and community engagements, SAOUG continues to support learning, connection, and meaningful collaboration across the African Oracle community.
