Invitation to attend JD Edwards Enterprise One and
JD Edwards World Security Workshops

JD Edwards User Community in South Africa

The Need
Globalisation, outsourcing and a tough economy mean that JDE customers are experiencing unprecedented pressure from their own internal staff who are in a position to use standard procedures to commit fraud. The problem extends from fiddling expenses right through to diverting product to phantom companies.  You need to do something about it and ALL Out have solutions that enable you to set-up JDE security to prevent fraud as well as solutions to detect it once is has happened.

Security Workshops
These workshops will provide education on the main security features in standard JD Edwards Enterprise and One World Software. If you struggle to understand how they work then this will be of special interest to you. The ALL Out product set is designed to address the limitations of standard JD Edwards. Each product works in a slightly different way to overcome the specific limitations of the underlying JDE security.  The workshop will describe each limitation and how the ALL Out product has features that address each of them.

For example, multiple roles in E1 is an excellent feature however, it has certain limitations caused by conflicts that make it very difficult to use. ALL Out has the fix!
Similarly – JDE World is missing a means of simply locking programs and versions i.e. an equivalent to Application Security in E1. Again, ALL Out has the fix.

Demonstrations and Case Studies
The workshops will include demonstrations of standard JDE security features as well as the ALL Out product itself. Also included will be extracts from customer presentations made at Collaborate, Quest Australia and Oracle Open World.

The workshops will be lead by Richard Belton, Senior Consultant, ALL Out Security.

Richard has been working with JD Edwards as a customer and a consultant since 1987. Richard was in South Africa from 1989 through to 1992 where he was with the Data Technologies JD Edwards pre-sales support team. He has been working as a JDE Security Consultant since 1998 and has presented at most Collaborate conferences since then - as well as OpenWorld and many Regional User Groups. He joined ALL Out in 2005 and was instrumental in the development of the ALL Out for Enterprise One product set.

Who should attend?
Finance Directors, Security Officers, Auditors, Compliance Officers, Senior Applications Managers and Senior IT Managers.

Have you got a question that you want answered? Once you have registered we would like to hear your questions and will answer them at the workshops.
